Our Story

Mission Statement:

As the founder of dermaglove products, I have committed myself to environmental issues for the last 30 years. My journey and experience inspired me to create an enviro-safe and skin-supporting product line for head-to-toe coverage, powered by bio-technology that brings personal skin protection into beauty-based solutions. These advanced lifestyle products are not only created for improving skin health, but protecting the environment too.

Luckily, for me (and better yet, Mother Nature), these products and my business will remain committed to beauty while doing whatever is necessary to save the earth. From producing recyclable packaging- which keeps landfill and ocean waste to a minimum- to supporting earth-friendly initiatives!

By using proceeds from profits, these sustainable products are as good for the environment as they are for creating and maintaining a naturally safe and healthy complexion. I believe, using Mother Nature’s wisdom, that it’s conceivable to live a greener and healthier lifestyle without sacrificing quality or effectiveness.

From the Beginning:

Lisa Levinson offers more than 28 years of experience in facility management and indoor environmental consulting working with such companies as Lockheed Martin, Coca-Cola, and the Georgia Aquarium. Lisa’s Aqua-Green-Clean Program was specifically developed to provide high performance cleaning procedures in sensitive and unique facilities such as aquariums, zoos, museums, theaters, exhibit halls, etc. The focus of the program is to identify the health and safety issues and address the areas of concern, individual needs, and sensitivities. One of Aqua Green Cleans most valued service is the ability to formulate products that address specific facility needs.

In 2009 Levison spoke at the Annual Infection Prevention and Control Conference, “Mastering Powerful and Practical Infection Prevention Strategies”, hosted by the Joint Commission. After speaking directly to the Joint Commission on the subject of hand health issues surrounding protocols and practices, Levison became dedicated to finding a solution.

dermaglove was developed to address the ongoing issue of typical hand sanitizers in the Health Care World. Many of the top sanitizer brands left HCW hands dry, cracked, and open to infection. Taking the technology behind our Green-Clean formulated products, Lisa created HAND RECOVERY- an FDA medical grade, 70% ETOH sanitizing-lotion, specifically developed for the medical community to reverse damage caused by and related to frequent hand washing and sanitizing practices. HAND RECOVERY is widely sold into VA Hospitals, Military bases and the VNA (Visiting Nurse Association).

Where We are Now:

dermaglove HAND RECOVERY had such great success, Levison decided to take her proprietary technology from just hands to a head-to-toe skincare and hygiene line. This cosmetic line was created for the more aware and environmentally conscious consumer, linking a cosmetic solution to personal hygiene with advanced aesthetics and personal care considerations. These products are formulated to nourish and support the skin barrier. Instead of depleting and stripping layers of the skin, our products are actively helping rebuild, restructure, and strengthen the skin while providing the body with the necessary vitamins, nutrients, and minerals to effectively defend itself.

Our Technology:

Invis-0-bond was specifically designed to enhance product performance while counteracting any and all abrasive compounds and ingredients that might have ill effects to the skins natural state or condition. The invisible surface barrier holds essential oils, vitamins, and high grade moisturizing conditioners onto the skin. This layer of moisturizing protection immediately begins penetrating and rebuilding the skins acid mantle while providing the most effective moisture treatment and skin restoration available. Moisture is the key to effectively replenish exposed skin and hydration is a mandatory requirement for the body to naturally regenerate and reproduce its own oils and lipids.

Environmental Conservation

The Aqua-Green-Clean Hand Hygiene, registered as an "Environmentally Certified" Program was developed by Derma Glove. This unique hand hygiene partnership will focus on bringing only non-toxic, aquatic-safe solutions into the facilities. A portion of all proceeds will be contributed to the continuing conservation efforts for our oceans and environment. The program uses 100% aquatic safe products. The dispensing units are constructed from re-usable plastics with recyclable bladder bags. All hard-plastic mechanisms are certified as ocean safe.

We are extremely proud to bring this kind of enviro-conscience program into Georgia Aquarium (GAI). More importantly, GAI is extremely excited to actively be doing their part to effectively cut back on unhealthy and unsafe facility necessities which ultimately becomes deadly debris and dangerous contamination within our overall environment.

This program is specifically being recognized as a proactive way to help make a difference while addressing today’s ongoing concerns with plastics polluting our oceans and singlehandedly killing aquatic life.
